Don't really know why I'm doing this yet, but Mike has one that he set up for news about his daughter Julia, so I thought it would be an interesting thing to do. I've dabbled with websites in the past, but the trouble was always keeping them up to date. From what I see, this looks like a much easier process. So hopefully, I'll update this every once in a while to maybe keep some sort of diary or something....we'll see.
What can I say so far....Cole had his last soccer practice of the season today. He seems to have taken to defence. He enjoys kicking the ball away and stopping people from ge
tting past him, but once he's stripped the opponent of the ball, he doesn't really want to go chase it. We'll see how he does in his last game tomorrow....uh, I guess that's now today.Jasmine just turned 3 so she's not much into sports yet. Just Dora the Explorer. My wife Ann is going through the letters of the alphabet with her, one letter a week. They find pictures of words beginning with the letter, make special foods or treats that begin with the letter, etc all week long. This week it's the letter X. Jasmine sounds funny when she says X. The air for the sss sound goes out the sides of her tongue instead of the front (try it, you'll see what I mean).
Looks like I just figured out how to add a pic.... This is my son Cole and daughter Jasmine. Cole was the ring bearer and Jasmine was the flower girl at my friends Ron + Julianne's wedding on Friday and they did a great job. I was the best man and I either knocked 'em dead with my speech, or all the alcohol I had must have exaggerated (geez, late - can't spell) the kind words I received about it into more than they really were.
oh well, gotta get to bed. I'm beat from the wedding and organizing my company golf tournament yesterday. We'll see how long this blogging thing lasts...
